DEAR YOUNG FRIEND,

Letters

As I pen down these words from beyond the grave, I hope they reach you in good health and high spirits. I want you to know that age is no barrier to achieving greatness or making a difference. I may have lived only 25 years, but those years were filled with purpose, passion, and unwavering dedication to the causes I held dear.

You, too, have the power to create meaningful change in the world. Do not let society’s barriers, whether gender-based or otherwise, confine you. Break free from the chains that hold you back, and realise that you are capable of so much more than you think.

In my life, I fought for the rights of girls and women, striving to ensure they had equal access to education and opportunities. I believed in empowering them to become the best versions of themselves. You, too, can be an agent of change in your own unique way. Find your passion and let it fuel you to defy the odds.

As you embark on this journey, remember that challenges are part of the process. Embrace them, for they are opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Learn from your failures and celebrate your successes. But most importantly, never lose hope.

I am confident that you will rise to the occasion, just as I did. Stand tall and let your voice be heard. The world needs your energy, your determination, and your unwavering belief in a better tomorrow.

In your pursuit of change, remember to stay true to yourself and never compromise your values. I may no longer be with you in the physical realm, but my spirit will always be there, cheering you on from the side-lines.

So, go forth, young friend, and be the change you wish to see in the world. I have faith in you.

With unwavering belief in your potential,

Hazel Jojo
